About Us
We are a young adult group (ages 19-39) at St. Eugene de Mazenod Church in Brampton, Ontario.
Weekly Meetings
We meet on Monday nights at 8pm for about 1.5 hours. Our regular meetings are usually held in the St. Wojciech meeting room on the 2nd floor of the church, above the chapel. Curious what our meetings look like? We always open and close with prayer, and you can expect to see lots of different styles of meetings which touch on many different topics. We might be listening to a presentation given by one of our SEYA members or our priest, we might be doing a Bible Study, or listening to a podcast, watching a movie, playing boardgames, catching up with friends, sharing stories, etc. Oh and... eating (there are almost always snacks!)
Outings and Events
Occasionally we'll plan other events like an overnight retreat, camping trip, sports in the park, or attending a Catholic talk together.
Social Action
While we are committed to strengthening our own faith, we also understand the need of going out into the community and encountering the Lord in those we serve. When you are filled with the Good News of Salvation and God's love for the world, you need to proclaim this! We aim to engage with our community in the Greater Toronto Area through initiatives like organizing Advent donation drives and joining actions at food banks and shelters.
